Tubular Daily Care by MediTracer
You found Tubular through r/codex.
Tubular Daily Care is a tube-feeding care app built by a tube-feeding family to keep feeds, care changes, and caregiver handoffs easier to follow.
The build story
Codex made a small, necessary product viable.
Tubular started as a family problem, not a market map. We needed a calmer way to follow feeds, care changes, and caregiver handoffs at home.
The first attempts were too complicated: Raspberry Pi hardware, audio classification, and machine-learning ideas that were interesting but fragile in real home care. Manual logging won because it was understandable, repairable, and easier for caregivers to trust.
Codex changed the economics around that simpler answer. It helped us explore the repository, implement focused changes, iterate on UI, test flows, review hardening work, and keep repetitive maintenance small enough for a niche care app to keep moving.
People still owned the care boundaries: product scope, privacy choices, preservation of medical data, real-device and browser validation, and release decisions stayed human.
