Data deletion

Delete your Tubular Daily Care account.

Tubular Daily Care is an app from MediTracer. This page explains how to request that your account and the care records stored with it are removed, what we delete, what we keep, and how long each step takes.

How to request deletion

Four steps, at your pace.

You can start the request from the app or by email. Both paths lead to the same result and the same verification.

  1. In the app

    Open Settings → Account.

Inside Tubular Daily Care, tap the gear icon, then Account, then Delete account. If you would rather not delete from the app, continue to step 2 and email us instead.

  2. From any device

    Email your deletion request.

Send a message from the email address on your account so we can confirm it is really you. Use the subject line below, or use the button to open a pre-filled draft.

  3. We confirm it is you

    Reply to our verification message.

Within two business days we send a short verification reply. Once you confirm, we start the deletion. If you do not confirm within 14 days, the request expires and nothing is deleted.

  4. We finish the deletion

    You get a written confirmation.

When the deletion finishes we send one final email so you have a record. After that point your account cannot be recovered.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot recover care logs, notes, or attachments after the deletion window closes. If you are weighing it, export first from Settings → Export data.

What gets deleted, what stays

Honest about both sides.

We remove everything tied to your care record. A small set of records is retained for legal, security, and backup-cycle reasons. None of it is used to rebuild your profile.

Data we remove

Account profile
Your name, email address, phone number, and any care-team roles you configured.
Care records
Feeds, medications, symptoms, handoff notes, and attachments you or a shared caregiver logged.
Household and shared access
Your link to any shared care circle, plus invites you sent that were still pending.
Device and session data
Push tokens, signed-in devices, and recent activity history tied to your account.
Support conversations
Messages you sent to our support team that contain identifying or health information.

Data we retain

Legal and tax records Up to 7 years
Billing, refund, and tax records we are required by law to retain. These are stored separately from your care data.
Security and abuse logs Up to 180 days
Sign-in attempts, IP addresses, and abuse-prevention records. These are kept in minimized form to protect other accounts.
De-identified usage analytics Indefinite
Aggregated metrics that do not identify you, used to improve the product. These contain no care content.
Encrypted backups Purged within 35 days
Deleted records linger in rolling encrypted backups until the next purge cycle, then are permanently removed.
After you submit

What happens, and when.

From the moment your request arrives, here is the sequence. Every step leaves a record in your email so you are never guessing where things stand.

  1. Day 0

    Request received

We send an automated acknowledgement within one business day and open a verification thread.

  2. Day 1–2

    Identity confirmed

A team member confirms your identity using the email on your account. No identity documents are required.

  3. Day 2–5

    Account and records erased

Your profile, care logs, notes, attachments, sharing links, and support messages are removed from active systems.

  4. Within 35 days

    Backups purged

Encrypted rolling backups complete their cycle and overwrite any remaining copies of your data.

  5. Closing confirmation

    Written confirmation sent

You receive a final email noting completion, retained records, and their retention windows.
